ISUG-TECH 2014 Conference

As an ISUG-TECH partner, White Sands will be participating as an exhibitor at this event!

The 2014 ISUG-TECH conference will be held April 14-17 at the Hilton, Atlanta in Atlanta, GA.  SAP will be launching Sybase ASE 16 at the conference, and will be providing several hours of technical sessions directly related to this new release!

ProActive DBA 9 Available April 14th!

White Sands is proud to announce that ProActive DBA 9 will be released at ISUG-TECH 2014 in Atlanta on April 14th.  This is a major update, with lots of exciting new features!

What’s in the New Version?

We had two objectives for this release:

  • Make monitoring of large enterprises easier to configure and manage
  • Improve root-cause detection to help you get to the bottom of performances issues faster

We now offer TimeLine, SQL Capture and Visual Space Manager in Plus Editions.  Each Plus Edition includes a number of new features that enhance the base product. Or, you can simply add only those options you need.  Here is a sampling of what’s included in the new Plus Editions:

  • SQL Capture Plus – Adds alerting, table scan analysis, reporting
  • TimeLine Plus – Adds dashboards, performance/availability alerting, reporting, wait event monitoring
  • Visual Space Manager Plus – Adds maintenance forecasting, capacity planning, trending reports
