Overview
The TimeLine Dashboard Option gives you an at-a-glance view of enterprise-level and server-level performance statistics, with drill-downs so you can quickly access more detailed information via TimeLine and SQL Capture.

Features
The TimeLine Dashboard Option provides several ways to view your enterprise’s performance levels and status.
First, the Enterprise Dashboard lets you view all your registered servers or a group of servers at a glance. You can choose which status and performance indicators to display for all the servers, including:
- Server version, platform, agent status, monitoring status
- Performance metrics such as CPU usage, disk and network I/O, blocking, memory usage, swapping/paging
- Recent alert counts (low, medium, and/or high severity)
Then, when you select a server, the Server Dashboard lets you view more detailed performance and status information, in a layout you define. You can include indicators such as:
- Recent alert summary and details
- Top database segments / dbspaces / filegroups
- Top open transactions
- Performance graphs for CPU, disk/network I/O, blocking, memory, paging/swapping
- Server version, O/S platform and version, uptime, agent and monitor status
You can also open floating Server Dashboard windows on the desktop, so you can keep an eye on critical servers while you do other work.
Technology
The TimeLine Dashboard Option uses data that is already being gathered by TimeLine and SQL Capture for your servers. The data is sent to the ProActive DBA middle-tier Agent, and is relayed from there to each Console viewing the Dashboard. This architecture is designed to minimize the network traffic and overhead of distributing the monitoring data to the Consoles that need it.
Database Support
The TimeLine Dashboard Option supports SAP Sybase ASE 11.0 through 16.0, SAP Sybase IQ 12.6 through 16.1 and Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 through 2022.
